The Roll Down Shutter
This system is one of the most popular types
of hurricane protection. The Roll Down shutter can
be operated manually with a hand crank or can be raised
or lowered automatically with an electric switch or
wind sensor.

The
Accordian Shutter
This system opens and closes much like interior vertical
blinds and stacks much the same way in the open position.
They can be stacked equally or to one side, and are
held in place with locking pins.

Removable
Storm Shutters
When a Hurricane threatens, these panels are taken
from storage and placed into the top track and fastened
at the sill with a special wing nut washer combination.
The panels are numbered to match the window and door
openings so there is no confusion as to what panels
go to which opening.

The
Colonial Shutter
This is a traditional favorite in the low country.
Once a hurricane threatens,
you simply fold them shut and apply storm bars to
the backs of the shutters.

The
Bahama Shutter
This
system
is designed to open and close by use of 2 telescopic
arms. When a hurricane threatens, the thumbscrews
loosen quickly to allow the Bahama Shutters to be
lowered and then are secured shut at the bottom with
locking pins.
