The Bahama Shutter System is designed to open and close by use of 2 telescopic arms. These arms can be adjusted to allow more or less sunlight into a room, depending on your personal taste. When a hurricane threatens, the thumbscrews loosen quickly to allow the Bahama Shutters to be lowered and then are secured
shut at the bottom with locking pins.

An added advantage of the Bahama Shutter System is the reduction in fading carpets and furniture, as well as reducing the energy required to cool your home in the summer. Because the Bahama Shutters are made of aluminum, it will not require constant upkeep like a wooden shutter. Further, it is lightweight,
which allows for easy of use.
