This system is made of 0.50 & 0.75 aluminum that is roll formed into a corrugated panel that fits into a top track called the header and a bottom track called the sill. In areas such as doorways. The bottom track can be made removable. There are various installation techniques that can be substituted depending on the type of trim that surrounds the window.

When a Hurricane threatens, these stalwart panels are taken from storage and placed into the top track and fastened at the sill with a special wing nut washer combination. The panels are numbered to match the window and door openings so there is no confusion as to what panels go to which opening.
